Queensbury Mews West

Description   |   Pictures   |   Map  |    Home

Queensbury Mews West is a short road which runs east from Queensgate into Queensberry Place. It is in two parts which are partly cobbled cul-de-sacs.

There are delightful mews houses with entrance steps going up to doors at first floor level. Many of the houses are painted in bright colours.

At the southern end is the side of St Augustine’s Church. Many of the mews houses on the west side are particularly attractive with many potted shrubs and creepers and the large first floor balconies add architectural interest to the street.

Despite its proximity to Queens Gate it is very quiet and private.
